About the event

After becoming one of the fastest 10K races in Iran, TEHRUN 10K returns: an event that never stopped and keeps moving forward.
Second edition: bigger and just as fast.

A flat, fast course in the heart of Tehran, designed for a personal best. Every runner, from first-time 10K participants to record holders, can test themselves alongside Iran’s top runners.

Registration steps

Obtain annual sports insurance (Via the federation website)

Race course

As in the previous edition, the course consists of two full laps in Velayat Park, one of Tehrans most standard 10K running routes. It is flat, clearly marked and fully controlled, ideal for setting a personal best.

Water and isotonic stations, kilometre markers and event staff will be available throughout the course.

Race prizes

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three women and men as follows:

In addition to the overall cash prizes, the top finishers in each age group, women and men, will receive certificates.

Age groups for women and men are as follows:

16 to 34 years
35 to 39 years
40 to 44 years
45 to 49 years
50 to 54 years
55+ years

The top three women’s teams and top three men’s teams will also be recognised.
Prizes will be formally presented to the winners at the closing ceremony.

Team competition

For the first time in a domestic race, teams and clubs can compete together. Club members may compete as a group, while registration remains individual. Please note the following for team registration:

Enter your team name during registration; it must be in English.
If a teammate has already registered, choose exactly the same team name rather than creating a new one.
Team names cannot be edited after registration.
Any team with at least four men or four women is automatically entered in the team competition.

Race Pack collection

Please bring a valid ID when collecting your pack. Race Packs cannot be collected on race day.

Bag storage

A bag-storage station will be available at the start area. Please note the following:

Your bib-number label is inside the Race Pack and must be attached to your belongings.
Leave your labelled belongings at the bag-storage station at the start area.
After the race, collect your belongings by presenting your bib number.

Race rules and participation conditions

To take part in TEHRUN 10K, the following requirements are mandatory:

Minimum participant age

Participants must be at least 16 years old on race day.

Required documents on race day

A valid ID and the race QR code.

Participant health

By registering, the participant confirms that they are medically fit to race. They accept responsibility for any incident or injury resulting from running.

Team competition

Team rankings are calculated from the results of the best four runners in each division, women or men.

Bib number

Running with another person’s bib number is not permitted. Each participant may race only with their own assigned bib.

Cut-off time

Finish-line crossings after the cut-off, 75 minutes for men and 90 minutes for women, will not be recorded and will not receive an official result.

Bag storage

Participants are responsible for their valuables and belongings. Organisers are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Use of images

By registering, participants consent to the use of race-day photos and videos in promotional materials.

Refunds

Registration fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.

With TEHRUN 10K registration, every participant receives:

Finisher medal for runners who complete the full course

Parking is free with your registration receipt.

Frequently asked questions

Can I register on race day?

No. Registration is online only through the TehrunClub app or website and is not accepted on race day.

What happens if I cannot take part?

There are no refunds, but you can collect your participant package from the office until the end of the week after the race.

What happens to my fee if the race is cancelled or postponed?

If the event is cancelled or postponed for reasons beyond our control, such as weather, city restrictions or official decisions, your registration is automatically moved to the new date. If you prefer, its credit is retained for the next event. Your registration package remains reserved in either case.

Can I collect someone else’s Race Pack?

Yes, by presenting the participant’s ID card.

Can I enter the race with a child or companion?

No. Only registered participants may enter the race course.

What is the minimum age to participate?

16 years old.

What is the finish-line cut-off time?

How do I get to the race venue?

Is parking available?

Yes. Free public parking at the park is available to participants with their registration receipt. Please arrive early because traffic may be heavy.
